March-16-09 Whitehead catfish party

We took Jason Whitehead and his dad fishing for a birthday present. It rained on us all day but we caught some good fish to go along with the ones that didn't get to the boat. The water temp. was 52.3 and the air temp was 45. wind was NE at 4 mph. Fishing Lake Marion is a little harder than just dragging corks on Lake Moultrie.

March-9-09 Dye party

We had Kathy and David Dye on board for a catfish trip on Lake Marion. Southwest wind 15 to 25. Fished the North side with 64 degree water temp. We fished up in the cypress trees in less than 2 feet of water. Lost 6 or 7 fish to the tree roots.
